2017 Academic Calendar

All courses (on-site and online) follow the same academic calendar. Bristol University utilizes the trimester academic calendar. A trimester system divides the academic year into three equal semesters, 16 weeks in length. The semesters are Winter, Summer, and Fall. Each 16-week semester is divided into two 8-week terms. Each term is divided into two 4-week sessions. Each course in the certificate programs and in the associate’s and bachelor’s degree programs is 4 weeks or one session. Courses in the Masters of Business Administration degree program are 8 weeks or one term.  Students in the certificate and on-line undergraduate degree programs can matriculate during any session. F-1 students and students in the graduate degree program can matriculate at the start of any term.
